Micing Up a drum kit and a guitar or Bass cab

This i how i would mic up a drum kit for recording purposes. if playing a concert i would always mic the bass drum and depending on siz of the space add microphones to give better clarity.

To mic a guitar amp you could do as seen below or you could direct injection through a stage box straight into the recording desk.
